Lenses are widely used in mobile phone, automobile, medical, security, instrument and other industries. Lens gluing is a very important process in lens assembly and production. A large number of lenses will use cemented lenses, which play a crucial role in controlling the internal optical path of the lens. The quality of the cemented lens will directly affect the optical performance of the lens.


The commonly used lens bonding method is the optical bonding method, which is quickly glued under the action of ultraviolet rays. Two or more lens sheets are often glued together: two convex and concave lenses with opposite R values and the same outer diameter are glued together. First place the concave lens on the cementing jig, dispense glue by dispensing equipment or manually, and then overlap the cemented surface of the convex lens with the cemented surface of the concave lens. Before UV glue curing, use eccentric/center/centering instrument and other optical testing instruments to detect the eccentricity of the lens, then irradiate it with UVLED point light source for pre-curing, and finally put it into the UVLED curing oven (or UVLED surface light source). Weak UV light is irradiated for a long time until the glue is completely cured, firmly sticking the two lenses together.
